"I waited for you that day..." "I was young. I was scared." Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for an endearing romantic comedy titled Find Me Falling, set to premiere this July. Directed by South African-Cypriot filmmaker Stelana Kliris, the film is set on the picturesque Mediterranean island of Cyprus. The film is set to premiere on 19 July 2024, coinciding with its theatrical release in Cyprus.
The story follows rock star John Allman, played by Harry Connick Jr., who retreats to the island after a failed comeback album. He soon discovers that his new cliffside home has a notorious reputation, drawing unwanted visitors and reconnecting him with an old flame. Despite his intentions to keep a low profile, John's life becomes increasingly complicated when his former lover Sia, portrayed by Agni Scott, finds him.
“Find Me Falling is a feel-good romantic comedy that goes beyond the genre’s formula to look at themes like life, death and legacy. It is also a love letter to Cyprus, as the island’s locations, food and music are captured so vibrantly on screen. With a cast led by Emmy and Grammy-award winning actor/singer Harry Connick Jr., this was an unprecedented production.
The film stars Harry Connick Jr., Agni Scott, Ali Fumiko Whitney, Tony Demetriou, Lea Maleni, Aggeliki Filippidou, Athina Roditou and Clarence Smith.
The producers of the film are Steve Shapiro, Keith Arnold and Stelana Kliris.
